This is an exciting role with the opportunity to learn digital marketing and to grow your skillset with an e-commerce focussed company.


Reporting to the E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for brand and product presentation at and its associated social media platforms, ensuring that it best represents Jöttnar and optimises acquisition and conversion. It is a role combining creativity with technical skill.

The Role

Manage timely product imagery upload to the website, ensuring merchandising and product representation is on-brand and of the highest standard in order to maximise conversion

Edit and create compelling imagery, video and copy for web and digital marketing use including: post-production of studio/mannequin product shots; in-action product shots; promotional email content; advertising graphics; product landing pages; and visuals for print and digital advertising

Research and suggest new visual promotion concepts to the Digital Marketing Manager

Assist the Ecommerce & Digital Marketing Manager with analytics and reporting when requested

Support the day to day retail operation of the website including ad-hoc tasks delegated by the CMO or Digital Marketing Manager

Assist with social media campaigns and optimise engagement

Contribute to the research and implementation of strategies to improve digital marketing efficiency using Facebook Manager and other e-commerce and marketing tools 

The Candidate 

Solid relevant experience ideally with 2+ years in a similar role, agency or client-side

Passion for brand marketing and product merchandising with the skill to execute it in an e-commerce environment

An interest in digital marketing including basic awareness of SEO, email and social media marketing

Visually creative and technically skilled with image editing software, both video and still

Knowledge of photo shoot, graphic, web design and web development processes

An understanding of image optimisation for web use 

Experience working with HTML and web-based platforms / CMS

Understanding of best practices in e-commerce user experience and drivers of conversion

Experience working with HTML and web-based platforms. Shopify experience is a plus

Ambitious, high energy, good communication skills, team player

Well-organised, with an excellent eye for detail and the ability to multi-task across multiple projects 

Able to take initiative and work well independently

A positive attitude and good communication skills

An interest in mountain sports and product is highly desirable

Experience in Photoshop (Critical)

Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office (Essential)

Experience with Instagram/Twitter/Facebook/Pinterest (Essential)

Knowledge of email design (Essential)


Salary: £20,000 to £24,000 p.a. DOE

25 working days paid holiday per year, in addition to normal bank and public holidays

Office-based, central Cardiff, Monday to Friday. Standard business hours
