Men’s Technical Octa® Lightweight Fleece
Eldar is a sophisticated midlayer or outer for high-output mountain movement. Named from the Old Norse for "fire", it brings efficient warmth through advanced fibre technology.
At its core is Octa®, an advanced hollow-core filament with eight fin-like projections radiating around a central void. This unique geometry traps heat, shields from cold, and wicks moisture with remarkable speed. The result is a warmth-to-weight ratio that rivals insulation pieces twice its heft, combined with rapid dry-time and exceptional breathability for hard push days.
The smooth, durable face glides under shells and resists wear from pack straps, while the brushed interior grid channels air and wicks moisture away from the skin.
A close-fitting hood slips under a helmet. Harness-compatible hand pockets and a zipped chest pocket provide accessible storage without interrupting your rack or waistbelt. Flatlocked seams cut bulk and reduce chafe on long, loaded days.
At 294g, it packs small, moves freely, and works as hard on the climb as it does at the belay.
