Great fleece, well made and v comfortable
Excellent comfort, material and attention to detail and seems rather more wind resistant than I expected. Nightshadow is great colour.
Very comfortable. The quality and design are good. For UK hillwalking, it's a very versatile midlayer.
Though even on cold wash, the top shrinks slightly on first wash. So if yours is a tight fit, the next size up may be a wise choice.
Excellent fleece. Comfort, fit, warmth & style all top drawer. I wear this pretty much as a second skin now, especially as the longer nights draw in. Fenrir & base layer next on the list!
After just a brief period of use I must say that this is a simply exquisite piece! I'm a fan of pull-on rather than full-zipped base / mid layers as I prefer the lack of midriff bulk they offer and this is a really good mid layer design with a nicely tall and snug funnel collar. The cut ties in nicely with my Hymir smock in that it doesn't peep out from underneath anywhere ( a within-range fit and cut compatibility some other manufacturers could learn from! ). The material is soft and comfortable and totally unrestrictive of movement and is a good companion to my favoured lightweight Power Grid base layer. I'm looking forward to getting a lot of use and enjoyment out of this piece as Autumn progresses into Winter. Not being a fan of mid layers with full zips and side pockets, as it's just unnecessary weight, I'm hopeful Jottnar will consider a hooded version of the Hemming in future as I think this should be achievable for around a decently packable 400g in a Small. As it stands, however, the Hemming is a fantastic addition to Jottnar's range and well up to their usual standard.
