From the Norse realm where men face giants, Midgard is built to withstand chaos on exposed ground. A precision-built hardshell jacket, it delivers focused all-mountain protection for high-altitude climbing, mountaineering, skiing, and technical alpinism.
Crafted from 3-layer Pertex® Shield Pro, it balances rugged waterproofing and windproof defence with dynamic breathability through an advanced microporous membrane. A 40D recycled nylon face, 20D tricot backer, and PFC-free DWR finish bring durability, comfort, and responsible performance in one.
Midgard’s streamlined, articulated cut moves with intention. Sized to sit over a mid or baselayer, with a dropped rear hem for extended coverage and fluid movement on steep ground.
Details are sharp and refined: a helmet-compatible hood with mouldable laminated peak for excellent visibility plus glove-adjustable cords; two-way pit zips for active temperature control; YKK® AquaGuard® VISLON® zips with an internal storm gasket; and Hypalon® cuff tabs with triple reinforced VELCRO™.
Large chest and hand pockets remain accessible under a pack or harness. Inside, a valuables pocket secures essentials. At the hem, Jöttnar's signature anti-snag cords avoid gear tangling.
