Well made, fit is snug but comfortable. Haven’t tried it yet carrying any load but the material feels soft enough not to rub.
Quality kit, keep up the good work
I was sceptical about how lightweight this was but as soon as you pull it on you can feel the warmth. Nice length to cover beyond lower back - I’m 5ft 10 and 83 kg and a medium fits perfectly. Zipped right up it keeps the neck warm and avoids needing a snood. Brilliant material, fit, feel and I think it looks pretty good too.
Outstanding quality base layer. I love this piece.
Very good weight to warm.
Bought mine pre prdered just as they were initially released last year I think with my njord.
The 3 stars are because I have found the label on the inside of the garment rubs on my skin and ends up being uncomfortable/leave red marks on my abs if worn for any period.
I don't wear it too often because of the above.
If it is cold however, I will wear a sacrifical layer underneath to take the brunt of the damage, as, even with the lower rating, the thing fits well, is comfortable (stand fast previous issue) and is high quality.
As per my initial remark; it could be an issue they have recitified in subsequent iterations.
A great top with a very high warmth to weight ratio - it weighs next to nothing, packs away small but you feel instantly warmer as soon as you put it on. I bought it for skiing and winter sports but I’ve been using it a lot mountain biking on Dartmoor, as it bridges the gap perfectly between a tee shirt and a thicker fleece long sleeve. It does fit quite tight though, I’m a 40” chest and 5’ 7 and I got a medium. This is fine for riding and exercise etc but if I wanted a slightly more relaxed fit I would have to go for a large.
