TECHNICAL HOODED FLEECE JACKET MADE FROM POLARTEC® POWERSTRETCH® PRO

REVISED

BLACK - NOW SHIPPING

PRE-ORDER: ESTIMATED SHIP ECLIPSE - LATE JAN '22

A warm, multi-functional, technical mid-weight hooded stretch fleece jacket that can be worn either as an outer or mid layer. Built from Polartec’s durable and highly breathable PowerStretch® Pro™. The inner surface keeps you dry, warm and comfortable by continuously transferring moisture vapour, while the air permeable outer surface has an abrasion-resistant nylon weave finish. Bonding fleece to a nylon face combines moisture wicking and breathability with the robustness to handle direct exposure to the elements. Thumb loops, harness compatible pockets and a close-fitting hood that can be worn under a helmet make the Magni a technical and versatile mountain jacket.

Updates include: improved hood design, lower profile harness compatible pockets, enhanced abrasion resistance.

Excellent Mid Layer Hoodie

This is slightly lighter in weight than my Hemming mid layer with what seems to be a more athletic fit.
As always with Jottnar the quality is of the highest level. The hood in particular is a really great fit and keeps the cold out extremely well
Would recommend this as a winter mid layer but is smart enough to wear down the local pub
Thanks Jottnar and keep up the great work

Magni Fleece

I quite like this. I wasn't sure when it first arrived but after having it on and doing a couple rescues in it, it's pretty good. Lightweight, seems resilient so far, and warm for the size. In rescue you prefer things to be 'fire and forget', you put it on and you don't want to be dithering woth layering whilst busy with other things. Seems to be fitting in to that so far.

Magni mid layer

This is Top quality very warm, breathable close fitting and the hood fits well around your head and face to seal of any draught. the chest pocket is a must and it,s used all the time.you can wear it with just a base layer or the Fenrir down jacket which when layering makes it very toasty im waiting to order another one when in stock I'm 6ft 4in slim build 90kg and a Large fits me perfect

Great

First Jottnar purchase, and I've worn it every day since I got it. Above ten degrees (C), it can be worn on its own, around 6-7 it works with a gillet, any colder makes a great midlayer. Great quality, and no sign of the kind of smells you often get with mid or base layer tops after just a couple of uses.

Function not fashion

Picked up a Magni last week, my first Jottnar purchase. I've been wearing it most days (wildlife photographer) and am very happy (happy enough to subsequently order a Grim jacket anyway). The hood is worth a mention though. If you zip it all the way up, you'll have a hilariously small hole to look through / breath through, and you won't look cool. That said zipped 3/4 of the way it does a proper job of keeping your neck warm. I was on the top of Bass Rock in the Firth of Forth last week and it performed admirably as a mid-layer. FWIW I'm 6ft, 75kg and a medium works well for me. Good length in the arms. Thumb loops particularly useful for me to keep hands warm when shooting.
