Men's Hard Shell Waterproof Mountain Jacket
HIGH PERFORMANCE TECHNICAL HARD SHELL
Odin is a fully featured hard shell technical mountain jacket built to the same specification as our Grim hard shell, but with chest pockets instead of the Grim’s hand pockets. Odin is designed to be a winter fortress in the most atrocious conditions, without sacrificing those features which lend it versatility for all year use.

Impressed with the Odin, really solid shell. I'm 5ft 10, 69kg and the small gives ample room for base and midlayer underneath. Plenty of length in the arms for climbing. Huge hood. I have short arms so maybe a bit too long in the arm for me. I also have the venir lt pants, really impressed with the skoldr fabric, light weight, solid and breathable. Can take anything thrown at it. Looking forward to some desparate winter weather to use it in
Exactly as advertised, good fit and durable.
Had this jacket awhile now and had a chance to test it properly. This is a superb jacket that has seen me through some seriously challenging conditions in Scotland and the Lakes (when able to get up there due to restrictions). Quite heavyweight for a summer jacket. Just wore a base layer under it and was fine. Cuffs maybe bit too large for warmer weather. However It is in Winter that the jacket really shows it’s chops and clearly designed for. This is a serious technical mountain jacket. Superb.
Most excellent jacket. The only revision i would make is adding regular hand pockets.
I traded in my comfortable but no-longer-waterproof Bergelmir (one of the older Polartec NeoShell ones) for the new Odin. The newer material is a little more crinkly than the NeoShell was, but looks as though it could well be more robust: my old jacket had areas of cracking in the waterproof membrane visible if you looked very closely. The Odin's cut is as well-fitting and comfortable as before, with good arm length (handy for cycling). The addition of pit-zips is welcome, too. Thank you, Jöttnar, for producing well-thought-out products!
