Men's Lightweight Hooded Windproof Hybrid Jacket

ULTRA-LIGHT, BREATHABLE MID LAYER

REVISED

A breathable, ultra-lightweight hybrid hoody built for constant momentum in changeable conditions. The wind and shower-resistant Nylon body is blended with highly breathable sleeves, side panels and lower back to balance protection and breathability in high output activities. Boost ventilation on the uphills with the chest half-zip and deploy the hood and thumb loops when the temperature drops. Wear out over a lightweight base layer or stash it into its own chest pocket. The Polygiene® anti-microbial finish helps you feel fresher on longer adventures. Updates for 2022 include a subtle concealed chest pocket, improved hood fit and new colours.

Perfect content for pocket

Packs down light and tight but warm and comfortable for current and future summer conditions. With Mar merino t-shirt you might even have enough to get you through the night.

Excellent

Looking for a light jacket ,got this ,have a couple of jottnar items in my kit all warm and snuggly for cold outings ,this is another level ,very light so as it doesn't feel like you are wearing it ,I'm 5 9 90 kg 42 chest so I got an XL ,bit baggy but perfect fit over a good base ,sleeves not too tight ,can pull them up ,thumbloops for chilly weather ,the hood when do e up encircles face ,no gaps ,long front zip a good feature for dumping heat ,not worn on the hills yet but I have every confidence it is up to jottnars usual high standards, they are becoming my go too brand for outdoor gear ,price wise , very good value,I'm not as active as I used to be so it won't be totally abused ,well done chaps ,keep it up

Perfect

Absolutely love this windproof. Been using it on all my runs. Loved it so much I bought a second in the other colour. Just have to hide them from the Mrs haha keeps telling me I don't need anymore running kit

It's brilliant

Love this jacket. I run pretty hot anyway so have worn a cycling gilet to run in bad weather for years but this jacket is close to perfect. Really breathable and the windproof panel on the front works brilliantly, just the right amount of weather protection for me without getting too hot. Perfect for windy Yorkshire days up to about 7c. Nice and close fitting, I'm 5:7 and 60kgs and a small fits perfectly. Sleeve material makes it comfy to wear with just a tee underneath

Recommended. A very useful layer.

I bought this as an alternative to a Patagonia Airshed High Endurance Pullover (a very similar versatile light mid layer) specifically for winter running - to wear directly over a Brynje mesh T shirt base layer.
This is an excellent combo eg. on cold, dank, mizzly hill runs where wind proofing and some light water resistance is wanted, but anything else would be too warm.
Windproof sections make a slight noise when moving (but are more weatherproof than the Patagonia version) and the hybrid design allows for great venting and flexibility.
Thumb loops are very welcome. The forearms are quite tight fitting but can be pushed up. The pocket is well positioned, useful and the packability excellent. The hood is well fitting.
The fit is slim but ideal for wearing over a thin base layer.
An instant favourite and I can see this being used regularly. Recommended.
The only addition I would suggest is a double zip to allow for venting of the chest area whilst the neck is closed or you’re using the hood (as per the Patagonia Airshed pullover).
