ULTRA-LIGHT, BREATHABLE MID LAYER

A breathable, ultra-lightweight hybrid hoody built for constant momentum in changeable conditions. The wind and shower-resistant Nylon body is blended with highly breathable sleeves, side panels and lower back to balance protection and breathability in high output activities. Boost ventilation on the uphills with the chest half-zip and deploy the hood and thumb loops when the temperature drops. Wear out over a lightweight base layer or stash it into its own chest pocket. The Polygiene® anti-microbial finish helps you feel fresher on longer adventures. Updates include a subtle concealed chest pocket, improved hood fit and new colours.

Excellent fast paced windproof

Have used this for running in winter in wind and rain and while it’s not waterproof beyond light showers it offers good wind protection and extra warmth. I’ve also used it for a week ski touring hut to hut and it layers great over a base and under mid layers and keeps the wind out so you don’t need a shell in lighter conditions. Fits really well

Like most guys; I run hot... I have a whole selection of midlayers and light jackets that I can't really use if it isnt actually 'baltic' :)

This however is prefect over a T-shirt to add just the right level of wind stopping warmth needed for UK summer or clambering round the Meddy (coastal adventures)...

Helmet compatible hood is a nice addition and I love the different more breathable fabric on the arms!

I wore this most of the day last week on a full traverse of Cadair Idris with a very thin hooded baselayer underneath. The breathability and windproofness of the Svend was ideal, I liked the half zip and stretch hood versatility to warm up and cool down depending on wind, sun or shade. My back was kept reasonably dry throughout the whole day thanks to the hybrid breathable fabric. I didn’t use thumb loops much as I used leki sticks, but nice to have. I can see this layer will be used a lot in changeable and windy conditions when active and moving uphill or fast, I didn’t overheat and I didn’t get too cold either. Will use when cycling too. Great hybrid versatile lightweight layer.

Just arrived, better than expected! I’m 6,2 & 15 stone, XL is perfect. Fantastic on the hill or equally impressive day to day.

A must have!

This is an intelligent lightweight must have for all runners and fast morning walkers. I live in Edinburgh and the lightweight windproof nature of this jacket means I can carry it around when the weather turns. The feel is soft and manoeuvrable: a quality friend in the fight against the morning cold and wind when moving at speed.
