Men's Hybrid Insulated Jacket
INSULATED MID-LAYER JACKET WITH POLARTEC® HARDFACE® WIND PRO® FABRIC
Floyen HS is a warm, versatile mid-layer. It can also act as an outer layer in cold, dry conditions.
Body-mapped, synthetic, breathable Thermolite® insulation is wrapped inside a stretch nylon windshell outer, providing warmth, comfort and protection. Polartec® Wind Pro® side panels toughened with a Hardface® application deliver stretch, water repellence and breathability, whilst retaining warmth when needed. The air permeable but tightly fused fibres of Wind Pro® reduce wind chill and withstand moisture. The Hardface® surface application increases abrasion resistance and prolongs the life of the garment.
Harness compatible micro-suede lined pockets provide hand warmth and the chest pocket stores essentials. Additional features include Jöttnar’s anti-snag hem cords, technical stretch cuffs, YKK® zips throughout and a Durable Water Repellent finish.

I wore the Floyen HS at the end of December and into New Years 2023 while hiking in the Faroe Islands. I was pleasantly surprised to find I did not need to use my hardshell jacket as the Floyen repelled the light snows, high winds (40 km/h) and temperatures from 25f/-4c to 38f/3c. It has since proven to be an excellent jacket to carry while skinning. It also has the additional benefit of looking great when out and about.
Really well made and great features as described. Be advised that this is a jacket for slim/very fit people.
I have only worn this jacket on a few cold and windy days in spring, so far, and it is excellent. Fits well and does the job.
Great weight! Great fit! Exactly what I was looking for
This is my 2nd Jottnar piece I have purchased after buying a Fjorm a couple of years ago. I wanted a smaller lighter piece as the Fjorm is a full on Arctic coat and is overkill for temps over freezing. The Floyen is perfect,I'm a 44 inch chest and went for the medium which still allows me to put a long sleeve technical tshirt easily. Well made plenty of zip pockets, goes in washing machine and looks great had loads of approving comments from friends who had never heard of the Jottnar brand.
