Fill Power is a measure of down's loft and therefore its insulating value. The higher the value, the more air a certain weight of the down can trap, and thus the more insulating ability the down will have.

Our DownTek™-filled products have Fill Powers of between 750 and 850, meaning exceptionally warm and lightweight jackets.

DownTek™ stays dry up to 27 times longer than regular down when exposed to water. Its specialist nanotechnology treatment creates surface tension on the filaments of the down clusters, forcing moisture molecules to bead and roll off the down. This leaves each cluster free to continue trapping warm air.

DownTek™ uses the International Down and Feather Testing Laboratory shake test to measure the water resistance of its down. Whereas untreated down lasts anywhere from 25-60 minutes before becoming completely saturated, DownTek™ lasts 1,500 minutes.
